Just wanted to see if i can get a little info on this subject,i have got 2 kids,my name is on there birth certificates and im still married by law (single now),she is making the rules of me seeing them just 1 day a week which is definitely not enough time,if i went to court would i get to see them for more days,or is that not how it works,thanks for the advice

I'd imagine individual cases vary greatly and depend on circumstances. Think a solicitor or citizens advice would be a better place to try.

Use :-

A government site for family law or courts etc....

Look up legislation on separation and rights etc.

Go to court for fair access with the interests of the CHILD in mind.

It's tough on you and your ex but it's not about either of you two. It's about the children.

Be prepared to get LESS access you never know.

One day a week sounds right to me.

The norm seems to be every other weekend.

Not sure what her reasons are for this, so without knowing it's hard to comment, but if I was in your shoes, I would go along with what she say for a cpl of month then approach the subject with her again, dragging it through court could make her more.determined to dig her feet in even more and it could turn nasty. Should only use court as a last resort and solicitors are only after your money anyway
