Desperate messages

I get fed up of getting repeat messages from guys who meet NONE of my requirements, then they complain to me that I haven't replied to them. I am polite and most of the time I will reply with a no thank you but to continually send me messages just seems really desperate and I end up hitting the block button again. I'm sure I'm not alone but just wanted to have a rant.

It's not that the men are desperate it's more that you need to be convinced of their skills, charms and talents.

Now, if only you would meet up, you would be convinced.

Happens to me - I just ignore them. They go away after a while.

"

Filters.... "

Filters only work so far. Just because someone is within those does not make them suitable. If they ignore profiles which then give other preferences, which happens a lot, then a person can get a lot of messages from patently unsuitable people. A 'no thanks' should suffice. However, many tend to leave it a month and then message again, and again, and again!

Flip it around.

Block all single guys and turn on stealth mode. Then go and search the single guys and email the ones you find meet your requirements.

Effort In ....equals Rewards Out!

That's exactly what happens,I get weekly messages from some, I haven't blocked a few of the regulars as I find it quite amusing now.

If you're certain you'll never want to meet them, why not block immediately? Don't waste your time with the 'no thanks' reply. Only a few would be offended enough to post about it in the forum

I ask for that when I make contact, keeps things simple and manageable.

It does yes but I really am not into searching for guys, I have plenty that I put all my effort into already.

I do usually but a few always get forgotten, I will be more proactive with my fingers in future.

Then I don't get what the complaint is about. Just block single guys from messaging you if you have enough guys already!

Like anyone else I always feel some degree of curiosity as to why someone has turned me down (largely because if its due to me making a mistake, I'd like to know what it was so as not to scupper my chances that way again), but ultimately the time you spend asking people why they don't find you attractive would be better spent finding the ones who actually do.

It's not just single guys, and as that's my preference I would be silly to block them all.

Yes exactly and surely a man's precious ego can't take a pasting week on week with the same answer as to why not

Personally, I don't have the time for folk on here who are so touchy that you're 'flipped' the first time you so much as fart off-key!

As far as single males are concerned

It is a buyers market. I know 99.9% of my messages will be knocked back if I contact somebody cold.

Single guys need to find a way of catching a woman's eye

Now, if only I had soxy's long legs

Once you take your ego out of the equation, its really just all plain sailing

If you'd ever smelled one of my farts you probably wouldn't blame them though - any small room I sit in for too long will begin to smell like something crawled into the upholstery and died.
