naturist beaches in the Med

Hi

we're trying to book a holiday for September - want to go to a hotel within walking distance of nudist beach, got to be in Europe, got any suggestions or recommendations?

you are spoilt for choice, although the definition of within walking distance is a bit loose?

The obvious and best being Cap D'Agde in the South of France. Both France and Spain have very many nudist beaches, or more accurately, nudism being accepted on many beaches. We found our first near Frejus in France by asking at the local cafe, and were given directions to it. Barcelona has a nude beach for instance.

As I say lots of choices, including the Canary Islands if you want to travel further but still be in Europe.

Do you want a 'normal' nudist beach or one with a reputation for shenanigans?

First of all Gran Canaria isn't in the Med, but it is ideal for reaching the dunes by foot from many of the hotels and bungalows in Maspalomas and Playa de Ingles.

Not sure if they still have the camels though, I think they still operate them from Arteara but not 100%.

Cap D'Agde is definitely one of the best, not only because there is lots of nice sand and cool water, but because it is naturist, is next to a great naturist village, with some kinky clubs, and also has a swinging section of the beach too!

We did consider that but decided an actual naturist resort would be a bit full on for us, we prefer just getting our kit off on the beach x

Completely agree! The Cap is amazing! Great 'glasses' pic as well Adam - had me chuckling for ages - not too many people go for jokey pics - probably with just reason - yours is hilarious though! S

Croatia has many naturist beaches, all very laid back and set against a beautiful coast line - i've been there a few times to enjoy the sun and see naked. Only slight drawback is if you're after big sandy beaches then Croatia is not the place, since they're more pebbles and smaller affairs. Their small size does mean you'll bump into people though
