I'm a gay guy, and there is a gay forum on fabguys (a gay site). How do you stop bisexual and "straight" men from talking about women sexually on a gay site?

I know this sounds a bit stupid or an offensive thing to say, but any feedback at all would help.

"How do you stop bisexual and "straight" men from talking about women sexually on a gay site... ...?"

... ...for what purpose? For what objective? How do you stop them... because...they are doing what exactly, other than talking about women, OP? 🩶

I'm not sure you can really. If the site it for gay cis men only and forbids bi and straight men and talking about cis women then report.

You could try blocking the accounts of those who talk about things you dont like but I am unsure of the accuracy of efficiency.

Unfortunately I think it's just a scroll by situation

I would suggest, you can't... it's just the nature of things, that site is not the preserve of gay only

Yes, I begin to realise that. I just find him disrespectful, talking graphically about women on a gay site.

"You could try blocking the accounts of those who talk about things you dont like but I am unsure of the accuracy of efficiency."

But that won't stop people from talking about women on the 'gay' forums. Hence my initial poorly-executed request for clarification.

"Yes, I begin to realise that. I just find him disrespectful, talking graphically about women on a gay site. "

But, it's not a gay site... ergo

The same could be said about gay / bi men hitting on straight guys here (of which there are regular threads) ... perhaps just a "disrespectful", yet it happens

Yes I know, it's for gay and Bis. As it's a site for guys, surely they could have some respect and not talk about women in graphic detail.

"him"...? Who are you talking about? Is there a particular person in question here, OP?

If they're remaining within the rules of the site, there's cock all you can do about it (no pun intended )

Not to mention the 'straight' men who contact bi or bi-curious men wanting some action... IMO there should be another option of being 'Fab Straight' for those guys

If he is breaking any site specific rule then report. Otherwise I’d just try and avoid his posts.

Why?

What's your issue with men on FABGUYS talking about women or anyone else who is not 100% gay, in a sexual way.

If it bothers you, just ignore it and move to a post that doesn't mention women.

I don’t know why you’d want to? If it’s what people want to talk about? I know gay people who talk non stop about women in a sexual way…. Maybe a different site or room?

If it's unpleasant, bordering on hate, them I'd report. The forum concept is fairly open discussion and we can't really force it on a specific direction.

If people are hijacking discussions and bringing negativity then it's possible to report to Admin

Unfortunately, there is this pesky thing called 'free speech' on what are effectively 'public platforms'. Your taking offense is a *you* problem, not a *them* problem.

If it was direct messages sent to you, I would see how that is offensive if your gay.

The best advice I could give, just don’t read it if you dont like it?

Why are you of the opinion it's a THEM problem?

Maybe do a little bit of self reflection and work on why you find women so offensive a topic. Then perhaps when others exercise their right to free speech YOU won't be so easily offended.

If str8 guys are on a gay site there not str8.

I've had guys wanting to talk about woman I just tell them I'm not interested.

Gay bi or str8 there all on a gay site looking for cock.

When you join you can class yourself as many couple or tv/ts etc. and men that only show themselves in woman's clothes annoy me move over to the tv section.

We all like different things and can't really complain while there sucking my cock. .

OP have you asked this question on Fabguys? I think they would probably have a better idea on how to manage their forums than we would.
