How do you split them?

I'm a single bi fem, I have a couples meet coming up. They don't accommodate and neither do I. Only viable option is a hotel.

I don't think it's fair that I pay half of the cost, seeing as there are 2 of them and only 1 of me. I think the cost should be split 3 equal way's.

This hasn't gone down too well.

Is this not the best and fairest way, obviously I think so.

But what do you sexy folk think?

If your in a cheap travelodge is it worth falling out over a few pounds and losing what could be a fantastic experience?

How far are they travelling. If its close to you then if we were the couple we would pay the full cost.

Ive a hotel meet coming up soon and the gentleman as offered to pay for it all....i dont mind paying half as we are both staying there overnight ,but find it very courteous of him to offer,think to say thank you im going to wrap him in bondage tape and ..........

I'm a single sometimes bi female btw not a couple & I think it should be a 50/50 split, should be based on couple been counted as one side of the meet the fem as the other. I don't think it should be down to the number of people involved, but the mix of people, if it was 3 single people then a 3 way split, but couple & single half & half xx

Half and half. Why should they pay more? There are 2 parties involved. It's irrelevant that one is a couple in my eyes.

Yes I agree unless one party will use the room to stay the night. We had this scenario with a fem. she went home, we stayed the night and were happy to pay for the room. If she'd stayed 50/50.

I think it depends if anyone has to travel a distance and is planning to use the room after play. If they are then they should cover the full cost of the room, but if it is just going to be used as a place to meet, then a straight down the middle 50/50.

Straight down the middle if its been discussed i know out of experience a lot of guys wont have it and end up paying for it all but offer to split.

When i have met couples if they have come to me they have booked their own room and i ave gone home to sleep.

And if i have travelled ive booked my own room as that time before and a bit of time after i think is special to them i don't do the whole falling asleep with them and spending the whole night.

If a single fem meets us a couple they get twice as much attention as either one of the couple get.

If you want a per-person split, arrange to meet two singles, if you want to meet a couple they come as a package so should be considered as 50% of the meet.

I prefer to cough up the cost myself, this way I do not feel I owe anyone anything.

However it will be at a budget hotel of my choice, normally close to where I live so that I do not have to travel far.

My view would be whoever is using the room overnight pays! If neither party is staying over then the cost is split 50/50!

Personally I've always paid - but then the majority of my hotel meets will be when I'm working away, so will be covered by expenses. But if I've arranged something in my free time and the other party has to travel it only seems fair that i arrange the room.

And not wanting to sound sexist but i don't think gender should be a reason for that to be different!

The reason I won't do hotels is because I can't afford half and there is mo way I.would let the man pay then feel I owe it to him to play I keep having to tell men this but still get them saying they don't mind not realizing how strongly I feel about it grrr xx

I put aside a "play" budget that covers the cost of a hotel room and a tank of petrol every month.

If this is needed elsewhere then I don't play that month.

Hence I am not playing at mo until August at least due to unexpected outgoings.

And no, gender does not come into it with regard who pays for anything, IMHO.

Never ask nothing from no one ...... as coming to Norfolk can cost on petrol . And if I meet at hotel after at club its my room I sleep in so I think its for me and us . If I was ever to be treated I would feel I owning to them in some way .

I'm a single mum, already have to pay tank of petrol to meet half way (50 miles).

I have 1 income and a child to support.

They have 2 incomes and no children.

Their income is far more disposable than mine.

I do not consider the other person's financial situation when deciding if I like him enough to want to play with him.

If I cannot pay my own way I don't play, end of story.

It comes across as rather petty to me having to consider how to divide up the shares based on number of participants and their financial situations, as it would come across more like a business transaction than fun to me personally.

When I book and pay for the room, I do not expect myself or the other person to stay the night. If I decide to head home, the gent is free to use the room for the rest of the night as he chooses.

All stipulated and underhand by both parties before I would agree to meet to avoid misunderstandings.

It may not suit everyone, however that's how I operate.

I don't see anything in wrong in agreeing to go 50/50 - but if i am meeting a female only in hotel i would always offer to pay all first; if she wanted to split costs i think thats ok to ---- i have however been caught twice in agreeing 50/50 with a couple with me doing booking and them turning up have the quickest of fumbles and making excuses why they need to leave and not paying their share and also on one occasion a couple not turning up ....so when its a couple i will generally meet somewhere local first and then do booking etc ...... did that make sense ???

I would only use budget hotels. If the gent does not turn up, I would write him off and move on.

In the past I had pre-booked a really cheap room every month for an entire year. However most went to waste so I don't bother to book in advance anymore.

We only meet couples and so tend to split it half and half, or we pay one time and they pay another.

We would not meet singles and so haver never had the problem of how to split the cost, but find it a bit petty to argue over a few pounds.

What i did pick up on is the comment about being a single parent and having less disposable income than the couple, how is their income relavant to how much each party should pay?

I always pay half, to be honest unless your paying £300 a night for a top hotel the difference between paying half or a third isn't worth negotiating over, you can get lots of decent hotels on booking.com for £40 a night so the difference between paying half or a third is £7 (i've rounded the pennies up lol) is £7 even worth mentioning? id just pay half

You're doing the right thing by trying to agree on the split before you meet.

Given what you've said, I think 50/50 is reasonable. If I was in a couple meeting you, I think we'd offer to take care of the drinks and/or food beforehand.

Mind you ... it doesn't bode well for a good meet, hope I'm wrong.

However a single bi woman has a lot of bargaining power

I know but I don't meet couples so I had to use an example from who I do meet lol

At the end of the day as a single bi female your in the highest demand on here, there are loads of couples who would foot the whole bill and even more that would jump at the chance of meeting you and paying half, if your talking to someone whos quibbling over the cost split just move on, it'll take you a whole 10 mins to start talking to another couple

If we are staying the night we will pay for the hotel.

If they are staying the night we will offer half. If they don't want half we will bring along a couple of bottles of wine and accidentally leave them in the room if they had not been d*unk.

If neither is staying the night we would expect to go halves but we are mindful if the other people's situation. It will always be discussed before a booking is undertaken and if we feel they are being unreasonable we won't meet. It's meant to be a fun evening after all.

Re: twice the work - you haven't shown any verifications from couples? Have you met couples before? From my experience in meeting as a couple, we are there to make sure the fem has a good time. I have been there as extra hands and mouth unless she particularly wants to do something. When meeting two guys it's far less work for the fem - you just get all of the attention from two guys!! Maybe I've just experienced very different meets to you.

2. Disposable income - you can't assume because there are two wages that they have more disposable income, they may actually have less disposable income than you.

3. Kids - a lot of people I know never discuss kids with their playmates as they like to keep them 100% seperate. Just because they've said no kids doesn't mean they don't have them it may just be they are not willing to discuss their kids with fabbers, or that their kids don't live with them so when they've said they have no kids to worry about it's because their 3 boys love with the other parent 100 miles away.

As a previous poster said - if you can't fund a meet don't meet, but don't consider the other persons financial situation as its irrelevant really.

I wouldn't expect a couple to pay two thirds. Halfers or turn about has always worked best for me. Although there's usually some time spent squabbling over who is insisting on paying (in good humour of course) but I don't really get hung up on that side of things. Generally the people I meet are more than strangers (for want of a better way to put it) so there's generally dinner/hotel etc so it's split down the middle.

So to summarise, if the party of the first part also want to use the room for the night the party of the second part need not pay, but may offer a gift of wine or part payment, however it neither the party of the second part nor the party of the first part are staying the night then it is reasonable to do a 50 / 50 unless there is a party of the third part in which case each party should pay an equal part...

Nope towels are included as is laundry service, Breakfast is also complimentary and I will buy a 16 pack of bacon make fresh bread or if the mood takes me it may be continental or American base as we do like to mix it up a bit round here

Who pays for what is up to the individuals but the proposals being made potentially indicate the type of person they are as well as their financial circumstances.

Personally, if a single meets a couple I think it fair to share 50:50 but males don't have that luxury and usually wind up paying the lot.

As a Bi female however the OP is the holy grail and could and should be able to dictate a better split.

if the hotel is not exactly equal distance from each participant then a fuel allowance will be allocated on the basis of 0.0001875 pence per CC per mile of the engine of the particular car (30pence for a 1600) the balance of this will be split on the same percentages as above and then added or subtracted from the hotel bill, subsequent allowances will also be allowed for the procurement of suitable measuring jugs for proportionally distribution of the wine... Never thought a calculator would take equal precedence to condoms on a meet

We know thats the point we tried to make. Seems to us the simple answer is if you want to meet then money should be at the bottom of the list if you cannot afford to do something don't do it.

A lot of people have come out with alsorts of sums to work out what should be paid.

Again this may come across a little old fashioned but if a gentleman/offer to pay its ok but think its a bit rude to expect someone to pay.

And working ing out costs based on sex as some comments on here suggest is a bit disturbing, some of the comments make it sound like a single fem is offering a service meeting couples singles and just because someone is a single fem the others should pay for the privilege.

Sorry for the rambling this is not aimed at any one individual just our feelings based on what we have read

Seeing there are many opinions and views on this matter expressed in this thread, I personally believe how the expenses for costs involved, such as hotel, fuel, meal, baby/pet sitting/etc., should be met and by whom to be stipulated in one's profile upfront, so as to avoid mis-understanding and unpleasantries at a later date, as it clearly matters more to some than to others.

I personally have always included such information in my profile from Day 1.

BTW, the bit about who pays the extra incurred for the dog was a joke. If I were to pay for the hotel room as I normally do, then I would pay for everything. It is my choice to bring the dog with me afterall.

Last year was a lean year for me meet wise, as I needed to upgrade my camping gear and then got hit by a big car repair bill, and am still paying for the latter.

This year is slightly better after I had made some adjustments in my monthly outgoings.

Hopefully, I can play again in August, can't wait!

I've just gone back to the start and flicked through the responses.

As you've said at the start - in your mind you think it should be a 1/3,2/3 split as there's two of them. You've also suggested this hasn't been well recieved.

The responses have been varied and of course the choice is always yours - but i'd look at it like this.

Regardless of the uneven numbers, there's two 'halves' to this meet - them and you. Without either half the meet won't happen. To me this would suggest equal responsibility for everything that happens, be that pre-meet drinks, food and the cost of the hotel.

If it had been two singles meeting, or two couples then I doubt if there'd have been a question asked. But with threesomes I don't feel the "there's more of them than me" arguement translates too well either in questions on the forum or in discussions with those your looking to meet!

Hmmm it was me that hijacked your thread, but only after several sensible answers. So why take such a nasty attitude to others? Not sure I understand unless as I suspect you have a history as a previous member and have some people on here you don't like.

If my distracted silliness prevented you from getting sufficient value from this thread I apologise, work was dull and I was having a bit of fun, not at your expense, just some banter on a public forum where the question had already been answered quite fully.

My silly messages prompted others to also drift from your original question, but I don't really see any posts that should prompt you to such anger. I shall try not to get involved in any future threads you start in either sensible or silly mode.

Budget hotel local to me, I pay in full.

If I have to travel more than 50 miles, the gent books the room, I pay half.

If I cancel the meet I would pay my half after seeing booking confirmation.

If he cancels he picks up the full cost.

All stated upfront in my profile in details.

OP I have seen threads where people 'turn' on the op and pretty much bully them and take the piss. This thread read like banter to me. Light hearted and fun. Only a couple of 'mean' posts.

A very sexy little minx. If you were a little closer me. And wifey would love a night out and we would definitely pick up the hotel bill as we would be stopping there the night as said in previous messages so it would be a big treat to us. A night away from the kids and an elusive bi fem. wow. This couple must be bonkers ha ha.

We have only done the hotel thing a couple of times. A couple came to us so just after we played I thought I would offer half for hotel or would they like us to come to them instead and we pay for that visit. I felt a little awkward asking and I think it was an awkward reply but we ended up visiting them and they took us to a club and we ended up playing there so all was good and recently we stopped at a hotel and by chance a guy messages us in the morning and we were feeling horny so invited him up. Don't think that would have gone down well if we had said et up m8 are you chipping in for the hotel ha ha so chin up moi there are surely loads of couples that will pay for the hotel and shower you switch lots of fun
