So you try and chat, send the nice messages, actual real convo no fake robot rubbish, and do you get any reply....nothing not a no thanks or even read, but then see the status thats people open to anything and chat to all, on many profile as you know i read them.

Anybody else finding this is going down hill and profiles are made, deleted and remade almost the same with pics aswell multiple times?

I'm not finding it any different to be honest.

I know I'm not meeting but I've never had any issue getting replies or people getting in touch with me first.

The only change is the way I use the site and it has never been more than a hobby at any stage but I've never chatted to a fake profile in all my years here.

1. You have no public pictures

2. Your bio doesn't say what you're after only your job and when you're free

3 and most importantly, you're a single guy. Single women and couples get hundreds of messages a day, so even if your messages was fine, they don't get the time to read it and prefer profiles that have a pictures

I struggle to get replies but that's what being a single guy is like unfortunately

It's a very sunny Monday..don't let other's drag you down.

The site, itself, has not changed but the attitudes of the people using has...in my opinion.

Many now are joining up expecting immediate hookups. Some get them, some don't. I cannot speak for anyone else, only myself, but from the messages I receive men seem to think that I'm spread-eagled on the bed, waiting for action, whenever I log in.

There is often a difference of opinion - they think we are an ideal match...I don't.

Regarding the unread messages and the lack of response, I think that users are unwilling to reply because a reply saying no is often taken as an opening for negotiations.

Many of my exchanges go as follows '

Them - 'You free to come over for for a fuck tonight?'.

Me - 'No, I'm not looking for anything at the moment! Thanks though. Hope you find some fun!'.

Them - 'What about tomorrow night? Or Saturday?'.

Me - 'Thanks, but I will not be free. Take care.

Them - 'When are you free for a meet then?'.

Me - 'Even if free I wouldn't be looking for one on one. Take care x'.

Them - 'Find a guy to join us and you can bring him over, too.'.

Me - 'I am not free for any meets at the moment. Best you look elsewhere!'.

(10 minutes later they've started wanking).

Them - 'Bet you love anal!'.

5 minutes later...it's turned into an angry wank....

Them - 'Knew you weren't real. Your earrings in your third pic are different to those in the second. There's a pube in your fourth pic that is missing in the others!'.

Many people just don't want to put up with it, so they don't engage.

The site itself encourages users to take the no reply as a 'not interested', and that's what many do - they show they're not interested by not replying. The problem then is that people stop putting effort into their messages, expecting no reply while they are composing it. It's a vicious circle.

As for going UNLOS and then reappearing a week later...I see it all the time when looking at the local updates. As someone who prefers more than one meet with someone, I don't engage with those who are on and off regularly.

Don't take it personally and don't let it get to you. If you find it's getting you down, watch some good porn, have a good wank and sleep it off. Come back on when you're feeling better.

The way we use the site has changed.

The constant “hey” “hi” and other one word plus dick pic messages wear you down after a while.

If a message has taken even a little effort we respond still but actually rarely meet off here anymore.

At clubs we know the guys are comitted to actually meeting someone at least.

I literally can't start a convo, but do try. 90% get unread, others read or deleted.

Some say they won't reply unless profile has no pics. (Proceeds to have no photos on their profile)

Others have a 10,000 word essay that they expect you to read. Which is just them being picky.

I know my profile is basic. But still,

I don't think it's changed in the slightest, no better or worse. People ignore messages that they have no interest in, that was the case 12 years ago when I joined and still is the case now.

When most people go to the supermarket, and are choosing fruit, they will pick the ones they like the look of, not squeeze the ones they have no intention of picking.

Agree with most,fab has changed over time,i used to get lots of replies and some awesome meets.

Needed a time out due to health issues and its never been the same since.

Ps,has anyone else noticed lots of single females stating not meeting but 'other things available' content and video calls etc?

Profiles vanish (probably reported) and before you know it they are back again with a new user name.
