They have blocked men for a variety of reasons, two of which could be:

• Temporary filters to avoid 100s of messages from men

• They are seeking/messaging men proactively

Sometimes couples or single ladies get literally 100's of messages from guys that they're just not interested in, so they seek the ones out that they are interested in and reach out to them.

I can almost guarantee that you'd also complain if you were taking the time to send a decent message to someone and they didn't reply, probably because they have lots of messages.

I get that it's tough for single guys, and it's easy for them to say 'its only polite to respond with a no' - to be honest I value my own time far too much to be replying to every single message where I'm not interested in the recipient... So to your original point, they're just saving you and them the hassle!

Don't be disheartened and definitely forget about the relentless chase because nobody is that special.

We posted about this elsewhere, we opened up our profile recently to allow single guys as S wanted to meet one. Hours later we had literally hundreds of messages, most clearly hadn't bothered reading our profile, a lot were hi how ru? Etc One got irate after a polite no thanks.

Single men blocked again, we'll find ones we're keen on now, it's just better.
