Saw all the excellent advice about arthritus on her, which Jayne was very interested in.

Our question is, are their any good anti-inflammatories that dont aggravate asthma, Jayne will be taking either Glucosemeine (low dose, high dose make her feel sick), or Omega 3 & 6, or perhaps both, but when her shoulder flares badly she has to take anti inflamms and these aggravate her asthma.

All non-steroidal anti-inflamms, given by mouth or onto the skin, will aggrevate asthma. Stick to paracetamol, with or without codeine (codeine can pose it's own problems) or other prescribed pain medication or go via some of the herbal/homeopathic medicines eg Rhus tox or Ruta grav.

Also use heat and cold when it flares. that helps to keep it mobile.

I beleive 'manfat' is the cure you seek...take orally 2 or 3 times a day or rub into chest as and when required.

My friend swears by it...lol

Slightly different track here my dad had a book called "foods that harm and foods that heal" or something like that and it was all about good and bad foods for arthritis sufferers. I'll have a look and see if it's still in my mums bookshelf and give you more detail
