Good Verifications

Why do all verifications give glowing references and feedback.

I've never come across a verification which gives lousy feedback. Of course this is obvious - that if a lousy verification was received the person wouldn't display it. This is why the majority of verifications are next to useless and cannot be trusted.

cant be trusted?

my angle is, if they didnt want to send one they wouldnt write one..

why would u send something negative?-it only would show u(the verifier) as having poor choosing skills

Arse End of the Universe, Cumbria

I have several profiles that I verify myself from, and i've also paid for Funky Monkey to verify me from his myriad fake fem profiles...mind you, I don't show the one where (s)he said I had a fanny to rival the Grand Canyon and the echo went on for weeks...

thats okay... I've decided not to trust your verifications.....

as with everything in life... take with pinch of salt! if you have to rely on everything else rather than your own instinct to make a decision, then I am not sure anyone can help...

I can only reiterate what others have said, that people shouldn't trust any of your verifications, that they are all a complete load of tosh and are incorrect.

Or are you saying that your veris are a true representation and it's just everyone elses on the site that are not to be trusted

My view on veris is that the people involved have met and were happy with the evening. They wished to compliment to show appreciation.

I am of course as bloody brilliant as all mine say

I take most of them with a pinch of salt .. the bit I look for is when they are saying the person is like their pictures

Script and verse of sexual prowess is complete bollocks - I don't want to read that

King's Crustacean

I once got a very bad verification from a bloke i'd never met.

It was a revenge veri as I wouldn't meet him.

I displayed it. I'm sure it amused me more than him.

Verifications are often confused with Reviews or Recommendations. A veri should really just confirm you are genuine. Most fabbers use them as sex references though.

I like to see how far round fab I can get by reading verifications and clicking on random profiles and then reading theirs.

Whether to show a verification is for the receiver to decide, and I doubt if anyone would choose to show one that does not show him/her/them in good light!

True - but how boring would it be if all veris said nothing more than 'genuine' ? Perhaps there be a separate category for reviews ?

I use them to get an idea of how often couples meet. Although not every meet gets a verification or the recpient chooses not to show it. If they have been on fab for a long time and have no verifications i tend to see them ss pic collectors and block them.
