I often get messages from people who just 'happen' to be in the area staying in a hotel for the night and who ask me to visit them there for a meet. This is usually without any kind of introduction or chat.

My usual response is that I am not running an escort service.

Am I just being arsey?

Nope not at all, we both get those messages too, we just delete tbh. We do wonder how many of those messages result in a meet.

I get those from time to time which is why I added to my profile that their temporary hotel "location" is not one of my criteria to meet. I find it a bit rude tbh and no, I would not meet them.

I get this too, "I'm in your area" or "Passing through Cumbria"...considering that Cumbria is 2200 square miles of sparsely populated rurality, the chance of anyone happening to be anywhere near to my wee bit of the county is remote to say the least, and as Arse End doesn't come up in a Google Maps search I seldom bother with a response (unless it's a guy who looks like John Barrowman, and is not gay)...shallow? Moi????

Hmm, there are people who will meet like that if some forum posts are to be believed so I suppose that you can't blame them for trying. But it woudl make me feel as if I was an escort too so personally I don't think you're being arsey

And I think you are right to be arsey with these idiots. Too many people think its instashag - it's not. We are all real people with real lives and real feelings so I think you have every right to be arsey with them.

Well, interesting. From some things I have read on the forums in the past I thought that people were happy to do these kinds of random hotel meets (not the already arranged type). Seems I am not alone in thinking the way I do.

And, no, I have never been tempted - not even remotely!
