No, as I love to eat, hence I learnt to cook so that I can eat my own creations!

BTW, I believe a good cook makes a good lover, as he/she has better appreciation of all the senses, IMHO!

Our local Carvery does all you can eat for £3.50! Cheaper than a sandwich in some places and only need to eat once a day!

I do a lot of batch cooking, and freeze the leftovers in single portions, so that they can be heated up at work in the microwave for lunch, along with some starch such as rice or pasta, and a little tub of vegetable.

There are currently 4 different dishes available in my freezer sufficient for a month. This way, I shan't be eating the same thing every day!

In the evenings, I tend to snack rather than have a proper meal. However, most of the snacks I eat are made from scratch, like soup, nachos, etc...

A world of my own

I often can't be bothered and go for the quick and easy option for myself, its nice to cook when you have someone to cook for and I can cook, just gets too much trouble just for one sometimes.

I am worth the bother!

Besides, when I cook, I know exactly what has gone into the food, and ready meals cost too much and do not taste as good as home-cooked, IMHO.

Im a singly and today i have cooked a pot of soup (veg) that would feed everyone on this site ...lmao

Absolutely gorgeous too.

But like diamond, i feeze it. I use strong freezer bags (sealy ones)

I have two freezers so always stocked up. but do have things that need sorting as i didnt eat it.

I love cooking so always happy if anyone drops in and gives me an excuse
