Not reading profiles.....

So.... As forum users will be well aware, men, in particular regularly complain about getting no replies to messages. We do try to reply. The following isn't a real conversation but a composite of the sort of messages we get.

This from let's say a man in Glasgow who can accommodate bearing in mind we say on profile that we only meet men from around Moray who can accommodate at their place.

Him: hi, nice pics. Would you like to meet?

Us: thanks but we only meet men from around Moray who can accommodate at their place.

Him: I can accommodate at mine.

Us: thanks but you're not in Moray, you're 150 miles away.

Him: ok, I could travel to you?

Us: thanks but our profile says single guys have to be able to accommodate at their place.

Him: how about I book a travel inn up there?

Us: thanks but we don't do hotel meets (it's on our profile)

Him: no chance you'll make an exception, I promise you'll love it?

Us: thanks but no thanks.

Him: what about outdoor?

Us: thank you but we don't do outdoor meets. All these things are on our profile.

Him: yes, I read it but just thought I'd message anyway.......

.......... ...And so it goes on

I got abuse last night. Asking what the point of me being on this site was.

Cause clearly its not acceptable for a girl to look for her own people to meet rather than waiting to be found. I explained that I was simply doing things my own way (and indeed doing the same as him) and suggested that it kept wasting time to a minimum. He said he wasn't a time waster. I advised he was wasting his own time.

There are always eejits. Laugh and delete.

to be fair, I've had plenty of conversations with couples where certain things stated as deal breakers on their profiles turn out to be either up for negotiation, or stuff that they are actually positively into.

for example:

Them: I don't suppose you like to suck cock from time to time do you?

Me: No, not my bag I'm afraid ..... so what's with the "NO BI MALES - Male is 10000000% straight!!!!!!!!!!" thing on your profile then?

We've had, I can accommodate... In the back of my truck plus las week had a chap who is some sort of tradesman who was doing a homer for someone at their house. " you could come round here, they're not due home for a couple of hours" classic lol
