So many comment about what they 'see' in others e.g. single men, couples , women etc...... generally hypercritical.

Never see a comment about what they see in themselves.

So .. Good or Not so Good..... what do you see in yourself ?

We’re kinda playful and fun , got our shit together mentally which I think helps me others. We take risks, but we also manage them well. We won’t get too attached and boil your pet bunnies.

Interesting thread.

I like to think I'm a reasonable guy, who's intelligent and fun to be with. I have kids and a grandchild, I'm employed in a senior job, and for that I feel very lucky.

Am I God's gift? No. I feel frequently ugly and that nobody wants to touch me etc. My ex probably did that to me, so I have some confidence issues around personal relationships 🤓🥷

I'm both incredibly immature and very responsible, it doesn't go together well.

A ‘striver’, if there is such a word, do I always achieve my aims, of course not, but whatever the reason for that, it won’t be for lack of trying.

In fact, now I think of it, people are always saying that I’m very trying

Mostly - everybody has an Open Area, Blind Spot, Hidden Area & Unknown Area. People will see the open area & the blindspots. We will see the open area and the hidden area no one sees the unknown area.

Definitely a word, a common one. Means to endeavour or persist in effort to get something done or self improve ..... e.g. Strife.... a conflict to be conqeured but mostly used for inner conflict these days.

Its taken me a long time but I know I'm a good person . I know in the right company I'm fun, playful and adventurous.

I communicate. I say what I want and what I don't. I'm fussy abome might think I'm too much. I like being that way.

Oh and I've got epic boobs

In fair Verona.

Feels like I’m about to re-write my bio.

I’m a good down to earth bloke, and a damn loyal friend if I see us that way.

I have a great sense of humour( this doesn’t mean I think I’m funny, but I can see the humour in life without wanting everything cancelled Karen!😉)

I see I’m pretty handsome and younger looking and quite fit when around people my age.

I’m good with giving advice and seeing things from other people viewpoints, but I’m terrible at taking good advice. 🙂‍↕️

Ta.

I see someone who had/has the potential to be the best version of himself he has nit yet achieved and is sure one day he will. I also see an emptiness there that I don't think will ever be filled.

Niche

I'm self-aware and self-critical.

Probably too self-aware in some ways. I think anyone who has had a challenged life gets to know themselves really well.

It's a double edged sword. I question and push myself really hard. It can make me have unrealistically high expectations of others too. Which isn't necessarily fair to them but I see it as fair to me. Bit of a conflict accepting people as they are, not asking or expecting them to change and yet always a tiny part hoping/wanting for them to meet me where I am.

It's made me resilient. I fall over, same as the next person, but I get back up again.

Always.

These days, or at my age

I do have self-acceptance of my strengths and weaknesses.

Or though I know I could do better, and I'm way too laid back, I'm comfortable.

So I don't do much self criticising, and just try not to be a Cockwomble.

I've very self aware.

I know my strengths and weaknesses and play to them accordingly.

I love my resilience, and try to give gratitude every day, but I recognise when I'm not coping and dig deep to find and use the tools I've learned over the years.
