Definitely after 40, I was very much in 'mum mode' til I hit 40, then decided that life is passing me by VERY quickly, and you only live once ( sorry )

I think most will say after, a lot of us spend our younger years bringing up kids and being in dead end marrages, by the time we are in our 40s the kids have grown up enough to not need a sitter and we've left the ex so the fun times begin lol

Absolutely love life Turned 40 last june and about to hit 41, life gets better cos you still have a youthfulness about you but also the wisdom and knowledge acquired over the years so yes would say definitely better
