My great grandad had 23 children by two wives and my grandad was choosen for the cross country team in the 1924 olympics but couldnt go cause you had to fund yourself in those days.

My step sister played hockey in the atlanta olympics

We're not 100% certain but it appears my paternal side is descended from French Heugeonots who fled France in the late 1600s in fear of persecution for being Protestants.

My first wife is a Catholic and so is my daughter.

My second wife's parents are Baptists.

The first six letters of my first name is 'Christ'.

All I need now is a Muslim in the family then I can go and save the world as an example of perfect unity between the religions.

My dad was one of 14 brothers and sisters, one of them died at child-birth.

One of my uncle was gay and was an actor in films.

One was locked up for attempted murder of his wife.

Their ancestral home was turned into a school, and the plot was big enough to have a hospital built on it.

hmmm well interesting for me might be boring for you . we traced it back to 1260 odd very lucky indeed that we could but only on my fathers side , one of his ancestors was a knight who fought on both sides for scotland and england , my grandfather was polish and a sailor scraped it through the war barely , my other grandfather fought his way to berlin in ww2 survived and then got killed on a bike very shortly after getting home , another ancestor despite being british fought for the boers and his ancestors are still there

we are related apparantly to the maxwells (yes the bad ones ) , there was a split in the family cant mind how long ago , one of them went on to found mcvities the biscuit people , emm thats all i can mind as far as interesting goes lol

wifes grandparents were polish teachers runing a school.

They helped a german officer escape the war..

Her grandad and said officer used to play the polish national anthem (a shootable offence) but the officer said "dont wory, my troops are to thick to recognise it"

Her grandmother made all soldiers baraked at the school remove thier boots, so as to not wake up her son!

Her father was almost shot by rusians at the end of the war, who were looking for germans.. They asked him "are you german" he replyed "nein" (poor kid had been forced to speak german for so long lol..
