You've got to appeal to them in some way and have some sort of common interest

Also, don't appear desperate to bag an older lady.

Also, don't try and go too old. It stinks of 'short term' (not to say thats not what they want).

Accept that some women find the idea of shagging someeone who is within 5 years of their children weird

I suppose my advice, for what it's worth is to forget the idea of getting and older lady, but just getting a lady. In my experience, on meets I've had, age was completely irrelevant.. I just liked who I was with. So far I'd say that as adults you should have a lot in common, so the usual requirements.. Good sense of humour, fab character and a sparkle in their eye.. You'll have a great time either way.. And if they are older.. Lucky bonus for you
