To me anything 10 years plus or minus, at 45 I like to use phones as an example. If your first recollection is one wired to the wall and you had to spin the dials, older. If it was one you carried in your pocket, younger.

I'm 58, and in terms of this site I would consider myself older or just old. Interms of society though I don't think that is necessarily the case, though that opinion would change depending upon which generation you asked.

The bottom point though is do you feel old or do you feel young. I definitely don't feel old, physically I can still do everything I used to when I was younger, and mentally I am much wiser.

I’ve returned to this with an extra thought.

30 years older then someone would be concidered an ‘older’ man or woman.

If someone were around 20yrs, and with a 50 year old, that probably an older woman. Any less than that and we now call them milfs or dilfs.

Depends on the starting point of the person who messages I suppose! On my profile I have that I’m looking for connection with an older lady and for me that’s the 50 - 65 age bracket, which are arbitrary numbers really but they work as a guide. Then on the other hand I’ve been messaged by people looking for an older gent 😂😂
