So having my usual long boring shite Saturday night I started binge watching mixtape. Not my usual kinda thing but it really did stir something in me.

I'm probably totally alone in thinking and feeling this but I genuinely think it would be incredibly hot to have someone that you can just send song suggestions to and be completely attracted to a person and turned on by that.

Probably explains why no one's been near me in years but hey music to me is a huge turn on. Anyone else out there think the same?

The right music can definitely set or break the mood

I think because I have a slightly different taste in music it's the excitement of finding someone who enjoys what I do

I totally get this. I had a connection with someone many years ago which was very much that.

I really enjoyed Mixtape, too.

I had a connection with someone over 20 years ago now and genuinely was the greatest feeling ever. Glad I'm not the only one!

I always made doubles when I made one for someone and still have about 15 of them. Love dipping back in and finding its still the music I love now

God the whole mixtape thing takes me back to a time where I used to hit record when my fave tunes came on the radio, and play roulette trying to hit stop before the DJ started talking again

I feel old now, if anybody needs me I'll be hiding under a blanket, silently crying to myself

Wouldn't minded being included part of the Dire Straits, but obviously not on here

Nah I used to do exactly the same under the duvet with john peel on the radio. I remember my dad coming through to me once asking what I was doing and he was full of pride when he heard the music I was recording

Oh I wish I did that - I used to spend hours curating the perfect track list. If you were lucky, I even did some artwork for my own album covers. What a saddo! 🤣

Still love the ones I have in return though...nowhere to play them anymore, so might need to create them as playlists!

Here, There & Everywhere

I still have the first and only Mix Tape ever made for me when I was 14, by my first boyfriend...who also, later, happened to be my 'first' 😉 When I say Mix Tape, it was actually the 'Now 6' album that he copied onto audio cassette, because he knew I really wanted to buy it but couldn't afford it. He was so sweet 🥰 I really enjoyed watching Mix Tape and listening to all the great 80s songs...bought back a lot of memories ☺️
