Does anyone do these for an easy breakfast in the morning?

Let me hear what you put in them!

I usually go for oats (shock!), vanilla protein shake, chia seeds, peanut butter and chopped banana 😋

Nice using grape nuts instead of oats, natural yoghurt and some frozen berries

Strawberry or vanilla yoghurt with a little milk to loosen up the oats then add some frozen strawberries and pineapple. Love sprinkling on some chia seeds and sometimes add Biscoff spread or some Nutella.

What the hell are overnight oats? Do you microwave them at night and eat them in the morning?

I usually have oats with chia seeds and banana as well, but not overnight

La la land

Make a carrot cake version, with grated carrot, chia seeds, vanilla extract and pecan nuts. Means I get one of my 5 a day at breakfast.

Overnight oats are the work of Satan.

Soaked (overnight) instead of cooked. They have the consistency and appeal of cold snot.

I’ve recently really got in to this and love it.

I’ve only ventured to peanut butter, banana and honey, though. I find it so filling and perfect for my busy mornings!

I came to say something similar, the goo is just 😬 and the chia seeds look like it's got frog spawn in it😩

Ahhh I've not heard of using grape nuts for them. I'll be honest, I didn't even know what they are 😅 do you put the frozen berries in with the oats so they soften overnight?

Ooooh adding the Biscoff and Nutella sounds incredible! I never thought to use yoghurt in it either because I thought it might make them too stodgy.

So the idea is you don't heat them up. You let them soak overnight and eat them in the morning. I find it great 😁

I used Flahavan's Organic Oats, mixed 75/25 with semi-skimmed milk and water, leaving it for a few hours to soak. The result is a more consistent and creamy texture.

I really need to be more creative with what other ingredients such as matcha powder, chia seeds etc I mix with once it's cooked. Instead it's fresh raspberries, maple syrup, apricot compote, dried jumbo raisins and/or sliced banana.

Probably a few times a year - towards Christmas - I'll use heather honey and a splash of whisky (I don't even like whisky but it somehow works!).

I add the milk to make them less stodgy. There are some great recipes out there. Look up 2 chubby cubs (their website should be back online again)

Back in Surrey, Dahlings!

I can’t eat oats though I love them. 🥲

The OG bircher müesli? Grated apple, nuts, sprinkle of cinnamon on top, dairy/vegetable milk or yogurt? Sweetening agent to taste…

I admire using Christmas as an excuse to add alcohol to it 😂 but those sound like great toppings as well! Although I can't get on with dried raisins 😬

I love overnight oats. Have them every darn day of the week!

I'm fairly basic though - oats, yogurt and fruit.

However I use Oat Pantry oats as they are flavoured - lemon drizzle, cinnamon bun, carrot cake etc, so have nuts, dried fruit etc as part of the flavouring.
