Ive been thinking about this lately i feel its one of them ages were i feel i dont quite fit with the younger people but also dont quite fit with the maturer people.

Not that you need to fit but it seems like its almost one of those stranger places to be.

What decade age frame do people feel was there best, 20"s, 30's, 40's?

Late teens to early 20s

If I fell or injured myself it would stop hurting the next day.

I didn't have to worry about bills and taxes either.

💯 I can remember being terrified of turning 40 when I was younger..it was sold to you as if your life was over, all downhill from there. But I absolutely LOVE my 40s! In your 20s, you’re all worried about whether people like you, trying to fit in. 30s are liberating - you realise all of that doesn’t matter, but you’re still carving your way, finding who you are, what you want to be etc. Your 40s are god-tier! I could not give any less of a shit about what people thing about me or what I do, I stay away from drama, don’t get stressed. I’ve got a career I love, decent disposable income, my own place. My circle is small and that’s perfect. I tell anyone who will listen - don’t be scared of getting older..I’m loving it!

I think it was more maturity made me stop caring about what others think of me and I started putting myself first. It’s like a superpower and now I’m the most confident I’ve ever been.

I had the best time in my 30’s. Mature, experienced, not too old looking I put people in their 20’s off, yet not too young I put folk in their 40’s off. Embrace it! X

It's hard for me to choose a favourite life decade...in my 20s my life was definitely more exciting, I was more outgoing and I explored so many different things that helped me shape the real me...I was a stripper/dancer, I acted in a couple of movies and TV shows, I worked as a fitness/underwear model, I was involved in showbiz and met so many different beautiful people, but I could rarely be just myself in those environments, now that I'm in my late 30s I feel so much more comfortable in my own skin...I found my calling in life (professionally) and found a purpose in my community, I have stronger relationships with people and loved ones and I just feel more at peace (although that might just be because of maturity growth). Maybe / hopefully my 40s will be a combination of both and would be the best years of my life 🤞😁

Now, in my 50's, I actually liked various bits of each decade. Growing up, getting married, having kids, get divorced (i hated that one), and now being a grandad.

I know what you're saying. It's a different decade, because you can't really get away with what you did when you were 20, but don't feel old enough to become middle aged 🤓

I pretty much wasted my twenties, had little direction and fell in to stuff. Don't get me wrong it was fun but I could have taken it more seriously.

My 30s really set the platform for where I am now. I got diagnosed autistic at 31 and finally learned who I was and how to manage/maximise my capabilities. I burned out a couple of times which I manage better now but that was a hell of a decade for me. My forties are a little more thoughtful but I keep the fun elements well and truly alive.

I think 30s is when you become unapologetically you. Just be and let the chips fall where they may. 🤷‍♂️

Erm away from Fab I don't really think about it. On here, I can be more aware of it, yes. The majority of women are forty plus and I'm not really a young 'un any more.

I'm in my third decade and don't think there's been a best. I'm enjoying my thirties, looking forward to my forties. My twenties were great. Played hard and worked harder, made some of my best decisions. Hoping that continues!

My boyfriend is young, my lover is old and there are definite differences emotionally and physically between the two. I guess it's good to be in the middle

So far I've preferred my 30s to my 20s. Yeah my body may have been slimmer and more toned in my 20s and I had less joint pain but it's true what they say about beauty being wasted on the young. It was for me anyway. I was so insecure and hung up on pleasing other people. Now I still try to do right by those I care about but I live my life far more for me than I used to.
