Dirty talk, hot? Or cringe?

As someone who's put off by loads of words and phrases (I can't help it 🤷‍♀️), I find dirty talk during sex a bit of a risk. Like it'll either be done right and turn me on, or it will completely give me the ick and I'll be contemplating my life choices.

Am I alone in this? And whys it always the men -not all men- (sorry but..) that come out with the icky stuff? I don't need a running commentary.

I think it works if you understand your partner and know what they like. But also, it has to come from you and not be some pseudo-porn atrocity you heard in a video one day and decided to blurt out.

As with anything, dirty talk out of context and not in tune with the play is a proper buzzkill.

Done right, I think it can be a really powerful tool to enhance the experience for all involved.
