Proponents of Netflix and chilling may have noticed that there's a sequel to Happy Gilmore, and I've just found out that there are sequels to Spaceballs and This Is Spinal Tap coming out.

In a world of almost entirely unoriginal cinema what entirely necessary, or unnecessary depending on your viewpoint, sequels do you want to see?

I actually watched the Happy Gilmore sequel, it was OK, but lacked the charm of the original.

It did feature the song 'Swingin Party' by the Replacements, which I don't think is about swinging.

There was no need for any sequel to Jurassic Park

I enjoyed it. I was expecting it to be shit after the last few Sandler films but it was funny with plenty of references to the first film and a few to his other classics.

Sequels and prequels rarely match up to the original.

They are more about making easy money on the back of a perhaps unexpected success so I tend to await the feedback of others before I bother.

If anyone expected it to be as good as the first they were living in la la land, I enjoyed and had may laughs at it, John Daley was brilliant. 😂

I am simultaneously overjoyed and terrified of all three.

I'm not expecting them to be top notch. I just don't want it all to be sad.

They're all classic and I want to be able to hold that.
