Looking at going to Torture Garden in October for Halloween. We have never been but it sounds right up my street. Just looking for opinions and how it compares to a normal club night at say Penthouse? Where do people tend to stay as well when its Scala or Electrowerkz? Are the clubs purpose built for swinging or is it a normal venue they transform?

It’s more focused on music and partying.

We’ve been loads of times and love it.

There is a large couple’s play room at both venues as well as a bdsm dungeon.

It is definitely worth going at least once. We normally stay at a hotel or Airbnb nearby. As we normally leave very late we prefer a quick trip to the hotel.

I much prefer Electrowerkz over Scala

Went to the last event there and surprised to see they'd rearranged rooms, including a much bigger couples (sex) room

Neither venue is purpose built.

However TG also run a production company, so can bring in lots of equipment

I’m also thinking of attending this event. Is there any sort of group chat for those who are planning to go? It’s very daunting thinking about going on my own and not knowing anyone there x

20 years since I last went

It was music and fashion focussed with light play dungeon, couples play room and extreme performances - the one that sticks in my mind had semiclad girls being hung up with meat hooks with actual blood running down their bodies from the piercings

We are thinking of going in September or may possibly just have a night in London. Has anyone got any recommendations for a reasonably price place to say that is convenient for the venue. We have never been so advice on outfits would be good too. We have looked at the website guidelines and pics. Is the couples room similar to what you would find in a traditional swinging club?
