I’ve been stood up twice in two weeks by the same person. We’ve been flirting for a few weeks.

We were meant to go out last week Thursday. Few hours before she cancels. Thursday just gone supposed to meet for some drinks as she’s finished work for the summer and has more time. I messaged and got nothing back.

Tempted to move on as I feel shit but she’s my type physically and we get on.

How do you deal with rejection?

It's a shitty thing to do to someone.... Twice.. well that tells you all you need to know.

Discard her and move on. She's not worth your time or effort my good man.

Everyone deals with rejection differently; be it on here or in RL.

Some aren't fazed, others can take a a few days or what have ya.

In the lead up to us flirting we were thinking about what to do. I mention cinema as we are both into movies and wanted to watch the new superman. I may of mentioned something along the lines of “I’ll keep my hands to myself” she laughed.

She asked how many people I’ve been with this year. I said 4. When I asked her she said 12. I never care about how many people someone has been with. I sort of find it hot.

I take this rejection personal because you’ve been with 12 guys but don’t want us to do anything. Makes me feel I’m not good enough. She’s been very flirty too so I’m just lost with it all.

You are all right though. I should move on.

She’s stood you up twice. That’s not mixed signals that IS a signal.

Doesn’t matter how much you get on or how much she’s your type if someone is into you, they don’t disappear when it’s time to actually meet.

Rejection always feels rubbish but look at it more as information rather than an insult. I personally sulk about the house a bit, put some uplifting bad bitch vibe songs on and give myself a stern talking to. Music is my biggest soother though.
