Any other fabbers living with this condition?

I'm recently diagnosed (on top of my other health issues) waiting on a referral to the CFS clinic.

Would love to hear other people's experiences of treatment and how they cope ❤️

I'll admit I just Google'd this and I found it quite interesting.

I'm really sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis, OP. Let's hope it's not too debilitating and you find all the support you need, here and away from here. 🩶

There's just been a guidance update this week. Not sure if it'll do anything but it's an apparent overhaul of all prev medical knowledge and treatment.

I've heard whispers about this... Hopefully it'll be an improvement for services.

I know someone who has been diagnosed recently after waiting over three years for the diagnosis.

All I know is there’s a lot of pain relief and mobility aids around the house but it depends on the severity of symptoms as all cases can differ

3 years is a long time, mine only took a few weeks!

That's good to hear, what's helped you the most do you think?

I've got back on the wagon taking supplements, just not sure else what to try.

So glad it's finally been recognised. Typical attitude towards something that's seen as a woman's disease.

It's annoying, because they were quick to set up help for people who have long COVID, but the symptoms are all very similar. So it's like they suddenly believe you after years of being fobbed off.

I was told my fibro diagnosis must be fake as it's a woman's illness.

Wow... What an awful thing to say! I take it they knew been can get breast cancer? There's not many conditions that are gender specific 🙄
