Do you judge a book by its cover?

In fair Verona.

if I’ve got a decent arse and I show it in a photo… I can’t be straight? 🤷‍♂️ Wild times.

What does my profile and pictures say to you?

And are we still out here thinking straight guys can’t show off peachy bums as it must mean something else, or we can’t have a nice ass at all?

My profile says I’m straight. That’s not code for confused. It just means I like what I like women (and I’m not afraid of a good angle. 😉)

Curious though, how do you read profiles and pics on here?

What grabs you? What puts you off?

And do you ever stop to wonder if maybe you’re judging the cover before even reading the blurb? 😏

(Also… the ass stays, and I’m not even sorry now🍑)

Pics will obviously attract the attention first, then i’ll look at the profile text if i like what i’ve seen, your pics tell me you prefer black and white pics, why? more arty or hide a lot of imperfections? who knows, only those that’ll meet you in person I guess.

As for the butt think, to me it’s just a butt, another angle to your gallery, Im never quite sure what women look for on a guy, apart from the mind eyes and face, just what part of a man’s body do they like to look at? 🤷‍♂️

I don't think people judge a book by its cover, they judge on what people choose to show. This place doesn't represent who people are, it just highlights the part of ourself we mostly choose to keep hidden from the normal world. The only thing people can truely judge on here is physical attraction, everything else is subjective.

No the cover is just to entice you into opening it and start reading. Then you can judge it

I always read a profile before looking at any pics and if that doesn't appeal I don't even bother with the pics.

I've never once been attracted to someone on fab based on their pics alone.

I make decisions based on their profile as a whole, their forum engagement and multiple private messages.

I also make decisions on people I'm not attracted to using some or all of the above and often judge forum users on their comments here without ever looking at their profile.

It's often said that text can be misconstrued but often it is a much better way of seeing the person behind the persona.

I don’t know, maybe they look at what attracts them, or simply what they find hot about you?

Your strong arms? Your nice smile, even your sharp haircut could be the thing that holds their gaze🤷‍♂️ women are a conundrum I will never understand. 😅

Exactly, a teasing picture, but maybe my profile pic is teasing the men more than women, who knows?

Like a nipple picture showing through a top couldn’t possibly trade someone who thinks that’s simply the sexiest photo a woman can take. 😏💯

I like a nice, cute peach on a man! I'd rather look at a pic of his bum than multiple pics of his cock.

Unfortunately, on platforms like this, it's pics that draw in the attention and then the blurb.

If the pics catch my eye then I'll read the profile. Then I'll make up my mind.

Physical attraction is a big part in deciding if I want to be intimate with someone but someone could be an adonis, but if there is no personality to go with it, it's not happening.

We're not swingers, and are only interested in longer term liaisons, so perhaps we come at this from a different angle.

If someone wants to come into our lives, our home, and ultimately my wife, then we'll use all judgements available to ensure her safety and enjoyment.

She absolutely loves her non-monogamous life and we don't want to spoil it, so we'd rather judge ten good ones wrong, than one bad one right. But, having said that we are always in total agreement with who we belive we can trust and will get on socially with.

I've read some terrible stories on here which are often removed in line with site rules - we don't want to be one of those stories, so at the slightest demonstration of disregard to consent, we would judge that person to be not for us.

Bum and chest pics are fine (she adores bums and can be bloody dangerous around them lol) but, to us, the single men that insist on flashing their cocks before even saying hello, demonstrate a lack of basic consent and are not given a chance - so on that basis, yes we do judge a book by its cover, and will continue to do so, because we don't see any downside in doing so. K.

Like that sentiment a lot! ❤️

Are you saying you're getting unwanted attention, guys saying you must want them to fk your ass because you have it on show and legs spread?

I'm afraid what you are experiencing is the 'they were asking for it' phenomena.

Interesting to see it & experience that first hand as guy no doubt.

Just seen a profile where the woman looks absolutely banging. She'd met a handful, her profile's nice but then goes on and talks about ticking watersports as an interest and how she was unaware what it meant - at 43yrs old. My 'fancy you' face never left so quick.

It might be were there's overlap in swinging and dating but a picture says very little. Until you get into chats, unless there's full disclosure from the off, you really have no clue how 'nooob' someone is.

Multiple cock and action shots put me off, so it's nice to see bum pics.

It wouldn't make me jump to thinking someone isn't straight because of it.

I disregard any inconsistent profiles, that say one thing and show another.

You do you op,regardless of what anyone else says etc, you will never please everyone.

I’m not sure what I’m saying, or if I mean that.

But definitely shocked at assumptions by photos only, did I deserve the comments? They’re allowed a view I suppose. 🤷‍♂️

I guess they’re as so many profiles in here, the upside is - it’s okay if you miss someone who might be a great fit, they’ll possibly be another great person coming along soon. 😀. I genuinely think this is a good thing, to much Icecream gives us a frozen headache (strange analogy I know, but it’s early).
