Was just wondering how many people are already using a VPN and if so which one?" We both use Turbo VPN on our phones. When doing age verification or any other personal information informs just check that the website is https /SSL, this is a browser basedVPN. They all should be using SSL. | |||

"I work in IT, and have been for decades. I've only ever used VPN to connect to my employer's intranet and secure data repositories. I think I'm the only one on this site who doesn't use it for anything else. Seems to be 'en vogue' on here." People are worried unnecessarily. There’s a few occasions where you do need them like for example using WhatsApp for calls while in the UAE because WhatsApp ports are blocked by the authorities as they don’t want to disadvantage the telecoms industry. Other than that, it’s mostly unnecessary other than connecting to your home computer or office et cetera over the public Internet | |||
