It's a good day out, plenty to see, lots to walk around and you do end up spending a whole day there. Can be expensive depending on how many you go with , entry isnt cheap,food and drinks are above average prices which is standard now with these places in peak times.

You can take your car in as well and have your own food/drinks with you though which is good. I think it last cost me £25 in peak times to take my car inside.

Lots of events/shows on during the day now for school holidays so some of the animals you get to see really close with the keepers.

Or, you can park over the road and walk in.

It is a good day out though, great views over the downs and a very long walk round!

Yes, they have a large paddock section now in the zoo so you can watch them wandering about as they please.
