Has this happened to anyone else? Anything I can do? My lap-top is ok.

Possibly a permission setting that needs to be updated to allow ADULT content

Do you mean they do not allow adult content? If so just go into your settings and take the adult content filter off or if you can't do it contact them and ask them to take it off.

Contact your provider and ask them to remove any age-related restrictions from you plan/contract. It's what I did via my supplier's webchat.

I changed phones last month (bought one, not contract). Since then I've been Safe searched at least 5 times by TESCO. They can't explain why. When its on safesearch im also prevented deom removing. Never had the problem before.

Thanks for your replies. It seems that I'll have to contact my provider (O2). Do they have the right to do this anyway?

Yes because they don’t know if the phone is for a minor so it comes blocked as standard

I'm on Talkmobile and I had this a few times. Each time I did an online chat and they reset the filter, but were confused as it wasn't showing as being active. Since then I think I've worked out what it is. I browse in incognito mode, and if the signal is poor the site takes too long to return the safety certificate. I get a warning about this, and if I click to go through it it usually takes me to the page that tells me that the filter is on. Once I'm in a better signal area it works again.

Im on o2 and was told I'd need to take Id to an o2 store to prove I'm over 18 to remove the block. Seems like a faff to me.
