How important is a face picture on a profile? Do people mind asking for one or without one would it make you lose interest?

Ps. I want to upload one but worried I might get noticed. If I upload one and set it to freinds only would it still pop up in new pictures so everyone can see.

Not seeing one straight away is not the end of the world. What I do find frustrating is when asked for one by a profile, and you send one. They do not reciprocate yet carry on chatting with a possible view to meet.

I would like to think that a face pic when shared by one side the other either ends things or sends one back.

Otherwise why bother.

I’m in 2 different camps with this. I’ve grown to really like someone before and took me ages to ask for a face pic, I actually didn’t need one. 🌈

And then there’s- just send a face pic before we get to like each other, and then I might not actually fancy you! 🤦‍♂️😬

So, I do g ask, if someone wants to send one I leave it to them. I send mine, I like to see how shallow people are. 😏😅

i only acknowledge/read messages from profiles with clear faces on public main profile picture. i need to know im attracted before i even give them time. i also hope it means they're financially and romantically free to be open about their sex lifes/life style. not everyone can or wants to, for whatever reason, but those are my reasons for doing so and for requesting them before making a connection. before having this boundary i would sometimes talk to ppl and then find that im not attracted to them after they send a face pic and it feels very rude to say "sorry, you're not my type" after getting everyones hopes up. i just find it a waste of time tbh. but i think you can send private pictures through messages plus you can also upload to your only friends album and i don't think it comes in the public feed.

We much prefer a face pic from the off, so having on profile is great. But I get some people want to hide.

We’ve been recognised by a few people since joining. But we’re happy in our decision to swing, our friends know already. So some random joiner coming up to hubby on a work site saying “I’ve seen you on fab” just gets a shrug and a laugh 🤣

Then I prefer to keep my naughtier stuff for the people I want to share it with.

But saying that, for the past mth or so I have sent a mug shot with my opening message.

And underneath put.

I do understand a connection is needed, so I have sent a face pic.

From my point. I don't share face pic on the profile. Just do not trust the security on the website. There is so many hack attacks nowadays, where we all can get hacked. And maybe not in public. But for example on dark net, database can be spread. And I just do not want my private life get affected any way. Especially with my profession.

For the same reason i can't get site supporter. As myndata would be included.

But after a chat here. Im always happy to meet socially. For a drink or coffee. And then. If we get along. Continue the story. Or not.

Is not a drama to hear. Sorry, but we do not match. Fully understandable. And is fine. At least we had a good chat.

To be honest it didn't happened yet. And i hope it won't

For me personally they aren't important at all.

I don't have one on here and never have done and yet I've someone managed to accumulate plenty of verifications.

I've met lots of people either without sharing a face pic beforehand or only when we have agreed to meet socially.

Some people will say that's a sign I will fuck anyone regardless and yet the reality is that I have often met in the past knowing we weren't sexually compatible so how we looked was irrelevant.

I have had my face pic shared in a number of those infamous chat groups where nice people use them as currency to curry favour.

I've never once asked for a face pic in 9 years here and I've never once had an issue when refusing to share one.
