Hello all! Thanks for reading / replying.

Does age matter! Been on here roughly a year had a few meets! However It does seem that a singles account is a lot harder to grow then a couples! I’ve had a couple account previously however we split hence the single. Any tips pointers thanks

People have their preferences for a reason - it matters to them. They know their own tastes and needs, based on their experience and self-awareness.

It's difficult for single men here, as most of the people who you're interested in, are able not to pick those who don't match them. Getting to socials and clubs is good to increase your circle etc

Ie. Your not going let a 16yo be a judge, in the same way no one is going to give an apprenticeship to a 70yo

Yes age matters, you have an upper limit of 55 so it matters to you. That's not a criticism, it seems entirely sensible to state your preference.

As far as tips and pointers are concerned, take the legal warning off your profile, it's pointless, carries no weight and just uses up server space. You will need patience because there are way more single men than women and couples.

Trust me in one thing you will grow older believe me I know but it does mean you'll fit in to more people's age range.

So I go for people around my age, give or take a few years either way.

Age does matter to us, yes.

I will be honest, women seem to age better than men.

A lady can be in her late forties and even older and still look absolutely stunning.

Men just look older, which is fine for a lot of people im sure. But I'm not into the silver fox era.

Upper age- less so.

Lower age- I currently have a limit of 22/23.

I don’t mind older people, but I prefer ones that aren’t condescending and are young at heart.

I think it depends on whether you reflect your age or not.

If you are younger and your pics and profile show that you aren’t mature in your views then that might put people off.

If you are older and your pics and profile show you are too mature, then that might put people off.

We are in our 50’s, we look after ourselves, go to Ibiza type dance events and prefer Bongo’s bingo to Mecca bingo, so we don’t tend to look at people older than us.
