Is it just me or people with hidden profiles that send you messages are a waste of time as you can't message them back why would you message if you're hidden from everyone else waste of time

I hide my profile from time to time (right now) just to take a break from getting any form of messages as I mainly use the forums. I have always been able to reply to hidden profiles when I've been sent messages from them and have had replies while my profile has been hidden too

More importantly, why would you want to?

We find it utterly pointless and don’t even open the messages from hidden profiles.

It’s one of my biggest annoyances with this place, hidden profiles shouldn’t be able to access other profiles.
