while there is probably technically biological defining factors that would make a straight man still straight or bi for having sex with a ftm or mtf, does it really matter this much?

I suppose I can understand if you're straight and you're concerned about doing something regarded as gay or bi behaviour then it is a very personal thing and does matter to them

I think mtf would be gayer because they entered this world with the body and biolgogical makeup of a male - I think it would be strange for a straight man to go for ftm but on paper it's a lot less gay imo

Hi OP,

I will provide an opinion but may not necessarily answer your original poster.

From my experiences of both I have never gone on to question what these experiences mean for my sexuality moving forward. I simply had a great time with lovely people.

However, what I personally do enjoy and pardon my language is the mind f#ck. To see a person as male or female yet also physically the other sex adds a layer of sexual energy for me.

Labels or other people's opinions of my sexuality do not enter my head, and I don't question it of myself.

Realistically either way falls under the Q as in Queer or Questioning. Basically you don't subscribe to societal gender/sexuality norms. You're embracing the full spectrum of sexuality and exploring it.

FTM I suppose a straight guy could be androsexual, a person who is attracted to masculinity, they like the look of a masculine looking woman but would be turned off if a penis was involved. In that case he’d be completely straight.

Gynosexuality, is attracted to femininity, even if they (FTM) had a penis and its not involved in the act itself, surely it could still be considered straight sex.

I have no real opinion but I thought I’d add it to the mix.

I don’t think Mtf is gay at all under the provisions they are feminine. As you would be attractive to the feminine side. For me it's not a matter of gay or straight, it simply a matter of genitalia. My main attraction to someone is them as an individual, their vibe, their soul. However the genitalia between their legs has a veto power. I'm not into dicks sexually however much I like the individual.

I've been with pre op transmen and while respecting they're men I've liked them as an individual and they've had (at that time) female genitalia. And there are some absolutely beautiful trans women out there inside and out. But pre op I doubt I would play one on one. Simply my avoidance of male genitalia would be a problem. Not a problem in 3some or group but a bit limited on what you can share together on a one on one basis.

I get that's a bit of a strange position and a little contrary almost but that's me. It's not genders for me, it's dicks that's the barrier.
