Until we joined here I never realised that I had this ability. I 100% trust my gut. Unfortunately I didn't always listen to it and because of that now I'd never ignore it. Never let your heart rule your head or gut!

Now I feel that it's my super power.

I pay full attention but don't use it exclusively for decisions.

It's an easy way to get stuck in what may now be limiting patterns. I evaluate, including with rational analysis. I've taken some jumps when I could have been held back -not all ultimately successful but I learned and grew, including study and work choices.

I'm very sensitive to energy and can pick up other people's, especially when it shifts. If my body is uncomfortable or my mind starts to overthink, that's my cue that something isnt right. Always trust yourself over others even if the explanation isnt logical.

It's not really a hunch. I think it's picking up lots of signals very quickly, responding based on environmental conditioning. And pattern recognition. The latter I'm generally very good at. People tend to repeat behaviour, respond in similar ways. Tell you how they might with little things, language.

I didn't always listen to it because I wanted to give people a chance/didn't want to stop myself experiencing something. And a good old sunken cost fallacy.

I'm more likely to now. It's not always a negative thing, sometimes it's saying something is a very good idea and to go for it.

it’s strange your guts saying one thing and at times you just go with your heart and yes end up stung . We live and we lean I am in last year as my husband died and now navigating things myself it’s not easy af times. But I must start to listen as could have saved me a lot of money . X
