so....I have a vanilla date today, my first in over 5 years!!!!

To say I'm a tad nervous would be an understatement! Am meeting him in an hour, so thought I'd come and release my nerves on here....omg omg omg omg omg omg!!!!!! and breathe......

I have a nice shift dress on, knee length and not low cut, they still look massive, cos they are lol but they're covered (my boobies) There will be NO sex talk and I promise I won't jump on him

just choosing which shoes to wear and finishing off my hair....

Even with 'social meets' set up on here - some find it difficult to act as if it's anything other than a warm up to some bedroom action - and i've heard POF is even worse!

I know...just a bummer after so long, have been single almost a year and lost a lot of confidence, being back here had helped build it back a bit but that shambles of a date has knocked it...I seem to attract assholes!!!

My favorite date so far was the lady who was 3 weeks out of an LTR and who just kept bursting into tears.

Hey don't give up, it was a wee outing and got you to dip your toe in the water..That is never a bad thing. In a few days you will laugh about it.

Dating from any source is always a bit of a chance thing whether it be fab pof or wherever. The only difference is expectation....
