Dull answer though I'm afraid but the BBC offers so much coverage simply as 210,000 tickets were available for purchase yet around 2.5 million try to purchase them. Plus there are many people - myself for example - who no longer attend so enjoy coverage from the armchair as it were or are too far away to attend. A friend who works at the BBC told me worldwide viewing for 2024 was over 78 million people. That's why they cover it. | |||
