Resting bitch face here, so, when outside of the home I try to rearrange into a smile so as not to scare old ladies and small children however that means mistakes are made by others who think I might be friendly and approachable.

I get that all the bloody time and it's infuriating.

I lost count of the number of times my father used to say "You always look so miserable" and I'd be "Huh ? What ? Sorry, I was thinking about going for a bike ride and where to go".

I'd get accused of being miserable when in fact I wasn't at all and it really hacked me off. Dad however lived his life with a grin always on his face. That was his way. He just didn't understand mine.

My friends used to say this kind of thing about me. Apparently the way I walk is very upright and poised and my resting face is rather serious... or to say it as they told me "you have f#ck off written across your forehead whilst slowly scanning the room". 😂😅
