For example i have a Roku box and YouTube is way louder than say Netflix or Prime but the volume still has to be multiples of 2 or 5 ..

All TV volumes are different. I wish the actual sound increased slowly, but too often even one notch is too much of a difference. So, I don't go by the numbers. It's the same with Alexa. I need 2.5, but there isn't one.

Oddly, the volume on my TV is at different levels for Freeview and Sky Stream.

If I watch a Freeview channel I can have the volume much lower than the same channel on Sky stream.

Always an even number regardless of the input.

I occasionally have tinnitus but it is very occasional. For me I don't seem to catch what's being said immediately. I'm one of those people that will ask you to repeat what you just asked but then answer halfway though. Think my brain needs an update or something cause it lags lol
