Caught a bit of Neil Young and Charli xcx this evening, both a bit underwhelming for me, especially as the latter seemed to mime for most of it, though it seemed to be bouncing there.

On the other hand, Scissor Sisters are bound to put on an amazing show.

I always enjoy Glasto, attended and even worked there many, many times. I think this year's line up is very strong, kudos to Emily and Co for trying to do something for everyone.

Friday's highlights for me were Biffy Clyro, Alanis Morissette and Wet Leg. Today I enjoyed Neil Young and John Fogerty but I'm a huge fan of both anyway. I was intrigued by Charli XCX attracting such a huge crowd they actually had to shut The Other Stage for safety reasons (almost unheard of) but was baffled by her popularity. Ok, a man my age might not be her "target" audience but I love and appreciate all music but hers left me cold. The fact she was obviously miming lost her many brownie points too. I didn't "get" The 1975 either. Was the guy 'method acting' at being a chain-smoking, Guinness swilling, staggering d*unk as 'performance art? Or was he just actually leathered? I lost interest to that question by the 3 or 4 th song to be honest.

Roll on Sunday!

Did anyone see the Beeb interview this morning with Dom Jolly and others.. the interviewer asked if they were looking forward to Rod Stewart, Dom came straight out of the blocks with 'no, he's outwardly supporting Reform so that's not my thing', similar responses from the others.

The interviewer tried his best to stay professional but was a great bit of back to the studio.

Another vote for Ezra Collective, and Enjoyed Neil Young last night, albeit a set for nostalgia rather than show.

Enjoyed catching up with Scissor Sisters this morning (now THAT was a show!!) and Alanis. Having been TOLD I must, am now enjoying Biffy Clyro's set. Still gotta catch up with Loyle Carner, that'll be good I know.

It's weird those lefties find it more obnoxious that he supports reform than his support of paedophiles.

Think at 80 year-old Rod Stewart is rocking it.

TBH a fairly uninspiring mix this year with no real stand out headliner for me.

I’ve been to Glastonbury a number of times and not just the festival. The acts are 1 thing, but people go for the whole experience, atmosphere, hippyness and the amazing experiences, the countryside and the people. It’s a once in a lifetime experience for most people and whoever is on stage is just a bonus.

Awh I missed The Prodigy, I must look up their front man now.

Nile Rodgers was good but jeez one of his singers was just way way too loud & very over powering. I actually found it difficult to listen to her tbh 🤭
