To warm it up before you get in it

Do you do it?

people have been having their cars nicked in this weather for doing it

I don't as it does'nt take long to warm up and as I leave for work at 6.30 it would piss my neighbours off

Yeah and I don't think the insurance companies pay out as you have left it " unattended"

Luckily I live in a safe neighbourhood and am at the end of a fairly long cul de sac, so I can get away with it... hence, yeah, I'm guilty as charged.

I lost my front door key cos I had my car running before I went to work!!

Yeah well I had to split the keys for house and car on my keyring, stuck house key in coat pocket! Somewhere between 8am and 5.30 pm it fell out of pocket!!!!!!!

Its actually an offence, it is called quitting and your insurance company would not pay out if your car was nicked. x

If the police see you do it they can nick you for it. It is classed as dangerous.
