Money transfer credit cards are my usual go to for expenses like this.

You can find offers that will give you interest free periods, usually 12 months.

Low credit score may be an issue, but a lot of them give you a pre-check to see the likelihood of being accepted rather than applying and being declined (Every application for credit will negatively affect your score)

Forgot to add that they usually have a transfer fee. normally around 3%.

Have you tried get the repair done at the manufacturer? It’s more expensive I k ow, but they do 0% interest installment payments. I wasn’t able to get a loan for a £5k car repair on a mini, took it straight to mini and spread the cost. Plus it’s guranteed and original parts.

Go rob a bank either way whether it turns out good or bad for you, you won’t have money issues for a while. Your housing, a place to sleep and food will be provided. If it does go badly don’t sleep with your face in the pillow

What sort of repair? Other than electrical faults, alot of jobs can be done on your driveway yourself... even brakes are easy enough but, if you don't feel confident don't do them!
