Having a conversation?

Has the ability to judge people on their initial profile picture ruined the ability for people to have a conversation and to get to know someone better?

Is it because people are always searching for the next best thing?

What's your average conversation length for chatting with people here on fab?

For me it's dependant on chemistry. I may have the odd kind and flattering message with no intention of conversation of meet, but Fortunately those I've spoken with, I've always met and there's been really good chemistry as our preferences and interests aligned on our profiles.

People mistake talking to a human being with talking to a sex robot thats why conversations don't last too long.

I agree there has to be the chemistry for a meet and I too have had some brilliant conversations that have turned into brilliant meets. Last couple of years, certainly here on fab, conversation seems to fizzle out so quickly.

Probably the most overrated thing in all of Fab is “conversation” the more someone demands it on their profile the less skilled they seem to be at it.

If I've understood your question correctly then for me it's several weeks (at best) to several months (better)...with a few simmering for nearly two years.

I'm a slow burn.

All depends on how we initially get on, some people the conversation just flows and it’s easy, but if I feel like the conversation is one sided I know when to back off and move on as I’m no longer the one they’re interested in

Sadly OP there are quite a few who do want a conversation… straight into the sex talk. But as I don’t offer insta-fuck these are swiftly deleted.

I do however have lots of different people I have proper conversations with here.

I often talk to people on here, very often.

I have open, honest and frank conversations with men and women.

It’s not just fancy a fuck…

That's brilliant. I'm guessing that's not the norm though. It's usually 2 or 3 replies and you hear nothing more

I don't really chat on here. I prefer to go to clubs and see who I meet there.

Ah I hear you too. I get it that the site leans to certain topics but it's not like you'd start that sort of conversation if you were first approaching someone socially. I treat the start of messages as if it was a first social meet encounter.
