Instant regrets, after a sweltering week last week I had the bright idea 💡

Shave off my armpit hair to reduce sweating.

What a doofus, now they are itching like a bastard and it feels weird.

I don't shave them but do trim them down as I do everything else.

I have Alopecia - my armpits are smoother than Italian marble and softer than Chinese porcelain.

I wish they were hirsute.

No, I don't. Like you said, itchy as fuck and I imagine the hair helps trap the sweat

All over

If you put a close trimmer to them, easily disappear and no itching

Use body lotion on your armpits if you shave them and anywhere else too

I trim I don't shave as that causes irritation. I just use my electric shaver and put the number 2 guard on it

No, I don't. I don't shave my chest either.

Sometimes I like the idea of a smooth swimmer's aesthetic, but then I remember I'm not a 6'2" Olympian.

So B.O is odourless but when you have hair under your arms the sweat combined ( bacteria ) makes the odour. So if you shave your armpits ( with the grain not against or hair removal cream ) you dont smell

No, I don't shave mine.

Which actually leads me to ask a pertinent question:

What the fuck is the point of roll-on deodorants for men?

Have you ever tried using one? One roll and your armpit hair sticks to the ball then gets trapped in the container. Just...what the fuck is the point?

Been shaving mine for years, wet shave the grain every couple of days. Wife doesn’t like hairy armpits and I find it does cut down on odour.

No, I would never shave my armpits. I lived through 50° summers, you just have to learn to wear the right materials and clothing.

I’ve shaved mine for years, never have an issue with any irritation, I suppose the key is a sharp razor and hair conditioner, works with all my body hair
