Nipple piercing advice

It's been a while since I've been in the fourms! If you know me heyyyy! 😊

Does anybody have their nipples pierced? Did they take long to heal?

I'm tempted to get mine done, I've wanted them done for so long but been too 🐱 to get them done.

I did some research, that say they can take a year or so to fully heal or they get rejected easily, I'm very cautious, anybody have any feedback on theirs at all please?

Thank you muchly 😘

Heeeeey! 🥰

I have one, soon another. Mine was fairly quick to fully heal, about fourteen weeks. My first time changing the piercing? Got someone else to do it (a piercer, not some random in a layby).

If you really want them (and they'll look fantastic on you!), pay a bit more and go to a really good piercer. Don't fiddle with them. Do clean them with that spray stuff. They healed relatively quickly for me and I thought the piercing was the clamps but... everyone is different.

I went a couple of gauges thicker on advice from a piercer, thicker piercings heal better. The only downside is it hurt like hell the bit where it crunched through in the middle, pain only lasts a second but cold sweat felt like I was passing out but no regrets. It’s been perfect since healed in 3 to 4 weeks.

Once it’s done, just leave it alone. Have a shower after working out or plan in the mud of course but you don’t need to be constantly turning it and cleaning it. That’s just gonna slow down the healing if you’re constantly messing with it - leave it alone , keep it clean , but don’t clean it, let it crust up and heal.

Hello beautiful 🩷

Oh really? That's not too bad at all, I suppose everyone is different but I thought I'd try and gage some honest experiences on here to try and convince me... Was the random layby person not hot enough? 😉😂

I do really want them doing, just keep talking myself out of it lol, I'm such a scaredy cat! Awww thank you, I'm also thinking they'll suit me but also if anything did go wrong and they had to come out will my nipples look weird AF?

I'm not relatively great with pain... But if I really want them I'm sure I can put up with it, I mean I've had a baby?! Can there be much worse 😂

Ooh that crunch wording made me clench up 😬😂

Thank you for the advice, think the research of them taking up to or even over a year to fully heal made me question it but I was saying to myself surley it couldn't take that long?!

I've had both mine done going on twenty five years now, and mine healed fast I was told to wait at least six weeks before getting second one done but went after four weeks. My daughter had to take hers out to have an operation and it healed within eight hours, no problems at all, and it doesn't look weird.

Sadly not, they weren't you. 😉😘

Would you feel happier with them? That's enough reason. Your boobs are going to look great piercing or no piercing and now I sound like a creepy man. That's what you do to me. Moving on...

If they don't suit you and have to come out, as long as you're not ripping them out? You'll be fine. Your nipples will still look the same. They won't suddenly, well I don't know what you're imagining. It won't happen though.

It's more an intense sensation than a pain but yeah thresholds are different. You'll be fine, honestly. If you'd like someone to hold your hand, well I'm... nope. Back to sounding like a creepy man.

Life is too short, get 'em done. x

I was planning on getting both done together, how come you had to wait did they say?

Oh really. That's great to know, thank you for that 😊

I have been fortunate to hold the hand of two women when they went to get theirs done.

I would say get them both done on the one visit. Piercings hurt, its that simple but it is a short sharp pain, for the actual piercing that doesnt last long. Only one looks unbalanced (imo) !

There are numbing creams available if you are really concerned.

I felt my chest tattoo hurt more than my nipple piercings but again pain is subjective.

Healing times vary from person to person.

Be brave, embrace the metal 😁

Do it

Do it

Do it !!

Mine took a while to heal but in part: I'd suggest a bar rather than ring for a fair while - I kept snagging the ring.

"Healing process is a bastard but worth it imo "

Clean with saline solution and an ear bud both sides of the nipple everyday, mornings and the evenings.

From memory mine didnt take long to heal at all.

Agree with keeping the bars in for as long as possible but how long you can resist the urge to mess about with them is different for everyone !

I had both of mine done at the same time. The healing process didn't take long. Try not to twist the balls at the end of the bars, mine fell off and I had to have it put back in, also make sure they are clean and dry. Careful with clothes snagging. Other than that it's fine 🙂

And... regarding the pain side.

If it hurt that much, people wouldnt do it.. 😊

Stay away from crochet tops and be VERY careful with those round loofer/wash/scrubbing things that some use in the shower.

Catch that and it hurts !

My piercer told me not to do this he said there is no need whatsoever to clean it with solution but they have to tell you that in case it gets infected and you weren’t told to clean it, but it actually slows down healing, it’s like constantly peeling off a scab, just leave it alone and let your body heal it

We both have ours done.

Mine for 20 years and Becky’s for the last 6 years.

Go to a reputable piercer.

Repeat that… go to a reputable piercer.

The really short bit of pain is part of the experience, same as getting flogged gives a bit of pain for a moment.

Clean them. Use sterile saline and avoid strong soaps.

Many people don’t get on with stainless steel, Becky didn’t and I had to convince her to change to titanium and hers heeled within a couple of weeks after.

As others have said, avoid net tops and soap scrunchies.

He recommended I waited but when I went back he said it was up to me so I had the other one done.

It doesn't take long for them to heal as others have said just keep them clean.

Had both of mine done just before Christmas at the same time. By Easter any pain, crusting and irritation stopped.

It was bloody painful at the time. Was tender for a while after and you do tend to forget about them until you hit them

I think they look amazing. But my nips are so sensitive and I love that. I worry that a piercing might ruin that and I was allergic to most earrings. One earlobe swelled up horribly last time I tried wearing earrings so I think on balance I’ll do without.

Hi,

I had both mine done at the same time.

For the actual piercing, one side hurt like hell the other side wasn't too bad. If he did the hurty side first, I would have only got one pierced, it was horrible.

They didn't take to long to heal. All I would say is keep them dry. Invest in some waterproof covering of the nipples for showers/baths/swimming.

What I would say is that if they are roughly played with they can weep a little. But on the up, they are AMAZINGLY sensitive. I can easily cum from it when my partner plays with them, where before they were not as sensitive. I do not regret it at all.

If they’re weeping, they’re not healed.

Continue cleaning with saline and consider changing to titanium if not done already.
