The wife is an insane fan of bacon. She refuses to put any kind of condiment with with, as it would despoil the sacred taste.

She was ready to leave me when I told her that I could take-or-leave the stuff.

Anyway, she has hers dry-fried in a pan - it makes it own cooking fat, so no need to add more.
