It's inorganic, I'm sure during the screening process, some of the 'contestants' are selected based on how likely they are to clash with others, then they are railroaded into situations where that is likely to happen. Also with clever editing you can create your "good guys" and "bad guys", with convenient "heel/face" turns where required. It's worse than a soap opera, these people are exploited and then they are mostly not prepared for where their 15mins of fame will take them.

I have no sympathy. If they don't know what they are signing up for, they should. It's hardly the first season.
