It was international picnic day yesterday. Did you go for a picnic? Is is something you do? What is your ideal picnic like? More importabtly, what would you fill your picnic basket with?

No i didn't go for a picnic. Used to go a lot with my late partner. Nothing fancy just scotch eggs sausage rolls, crisps and sandwiches and porkpie.

In fact used to go all the while in the summer thats why we never had a fancy one as it wasn't a novelty

I didn't know it was.

I'd have cheeses, crusty bread, crackers & tomatoes. Plus some pittas and dips.

Saving it for the weekend MB.

Off down south with one of my partners and some swinger friends for an afternoon on the beach before a club night. There'll be snacks a plenty, but definitely some mini scotch eggs and salad cream. 👌👌

"What would you have MB? "

Nothing too fancy to be honest unless it was a special occasion. Sandwiches ( probably crust free, wraps, pinwheels), salads ( like a ginoa one), sausage rolls, scotch eggs, chicjen drumsticks and little pies. A selection of cheeses, cured meats, crackers, chutney, olives and nuts. Few dips and crudites, seasonal fruits or fruitsalad, a sweet tart like peach and a cake like walnutor carrot. Some refreshing drinks, a nice picnic blanket, some utensils and napkins. Just easy to transport, keep cool and serve stuff. And a little background soothing music of course

I like beach picnics though usually evening/night ones with a bit of skinny-dipping (not on a full stomach

) and lots of questionable singing and dancing.
