...no, this isn't a rant; just a question born of the need of a rant (which is not for here)!

What are the little things? The thinly veiled passive aggressive actions that you see every day that urk you?

Every day? You need different people in your life!

It's rare that I see anything like that now that I don’t use social media (other than here).

My sister was really bad for vague-posting on FBook, with just enough plausible deniability to save her bacon. She still hasn't learned how to have a calm, direct conversation to clear the air, and she's nearly 46 🤷‍♀️

Mostly it's in the way coworkers talk to each other that I see on a regular basis. I'm pretty sure they think I'm a passive aggressive cunt too though so 💜

I have one colleague who hides it all behind a cheery smile so it is only when reflecting on the situation later you realise how irritating they've actually been.

harolds cross,

I’m too simple a creature to notice a lot of petty behaviour. I do however believe a person is either passive or aggressive, just because someone is smiling at you doesn’t mean they are not being aggressive.

'every day'??! good point!!

although of the comments already, nearly all look at the workplace, so there's an element of possibility!

one of my 'faves' is the needless CC'ing of others into an E'mail chain to either avoid responsibility/accountability or 'inform' the higher-ups.

The smile is the passive part. It's trying to hide the aggression or at least make it seem more satirical. Hence the term.

Hardly anything irks me. If it does I tend to say directly - a common problem in current times is simply that some people LOVE to take offence. They are far too quick to imagine their uncomfortable feelings are the result of what someone else said or did. They are also too quick to interpret what someone says through their own perspective without ever clarifying what that person meant. So they go and tell everyone else what a twat or cunt someone is without realising that it's THEM that is the t or c......

How you recieve things is hugely important.... if someone is genuinely passive aggressive , why would that bother an emotionally balanced person ?
