So most of you hate Marmite, but what about the delicious Camp Coffee?

I drink it by making it with warm milk & in cooking it has lots of uses.

So folks do you love Camp Coffee or do you hate it

Yuk! Would not describe it as coffee, don't know if it still has chicory in it but it's horrid.

I take mine black and strong.

Camp coffee may be permissible in cooking but real ground coffee is the way to go.

I don’t often drink coffee now….

But I remember with fondness drinking camp coffee with my grandparents who always kept a bottle in the pantry....

I tried that hazelnut liqueur a couple weeks ago and decided the only way to eat a hazelnut was whole cos I thought it was disgusting stuff and that's what I think of camp coffee as well.

Camp Coffee first produced in 1876 & it's origin is Scottish.

This is not something I would have tasted as I was not raised in this country! I am always keen to try new tastes, is that the correct name? Can I find it in Morrisons or other supermarkets?

Never, while seriously hungover, reach into a cupboard for a bottle of brown sauce, accidentally grabbing a bottle of camp instead and pour it all over your fry-up.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

They've changed the label somewhat since I was small.

My gran used to give it to me as a hot drink with milk and sugar. Yummy. I think it's nice. I can't drink coffee anyway so its good to know I have an alternative.

It's better than acorn coffee anyway!

Have you never tried the most drank coffee in Italy?

It's called "Orzo" it's made from a special barley, few coffee houses sell it over here.

Changed the label - how very dare they, I can picture the old label still, best thing about camp coffee was the label with the explorers sitting in their camp.

Now miffed

Sadly the label had to be changed due to the "Politically Correct Brigade"

Well that's blown it.

I was going to throw a Marmite, AussieMite & Camp Coffee party.

But as it looks like only me attending, think I'll have to change my plans
