Currently watching the film See No Evil, Hear No Evil. They definitely don't make comedies like this anymore. What is your classic go to film, pre 1990s?

When Harry Met Sally, Rocky, Karate Kid.

(But, as much as I love 'See no evil, hear no evil', I also don't subscribe to the 'they don't make 'em like they used to' - there's still lots of good comedy now, imho.)

Ryde

Just watched a double bill of Friday the 13th films - well, the date sort of demanded it!

There's always something carefree about slasher films from the 80s, where there was lots of blood and violence, and the women always triumphed in the end without whacking your over the head with political statements.

With the first death among its lead actresses only in April, there's an uneasy air of time catching up with the iconic series.
